Tea connoisseurs consider Yixing to be the best way to drink tea. Yixing pots and cups are "seasoned" by the tea which enhances the flavors of your favorite tea. For this reason, for the best possible cup, we recommend only one type of tea be enjoyed in a Yixing Teapot. Rinsing without soap is also recommended for seasoning of the vessel.
