A Special Tea Menu Our tea parties are a full tea meal. Each person receives: 2-3 Tea Savories or Sandwiches 2-3 Tea Desserts A signature cream scone and toppings A bottomless pot of loose leaf tea Sample Menu Brenda reserves the enjoyment of making any of our themes "Anna Marie's interpretation". It is our goal to make each tea party a special experience with delectable tea foods. Each tea menu is always a surprise and carefully crafted by Brenda. The theme or culture, season or holiday, and available fresh produce go into her tea menu designs and recipes. We assure you the meal will be filling and the ambiance delightful. Be sure to check our Event Calendar to find out the dates of our monthly tea parties. We are not a restaurant or a tea room so we are not open for daily lunches. We do hope you will try our very unique, very special way of "taking tea" with friends and loved ones.

1913 Historic Home

Intimate seating, old friends combined with new friends, tucked inside the 100 year old home in Downtown Liberty, Missouri. 5,000 square feet of original woodwork, fascinating history, each owner's love and impeccable maintenance are still a part of 'this old house'.

Seating

We are not a tearoom or a restaurant; Anna Marie's offers unique seating through out the first floor of the 1913 home, different sized tables and in different rooms. We will not break up your group but might need to combine smaller groups. Invite your friends and fill a whole table or look forward to possibly meeting new friends in a relaxed tea setting. Your loved ones and our loved ones. We are a small family and there is a good chance you might meet all of us when you come to tea in our home. We are looking forward to having you.

At the tea parties, tables are set up throughout the first floor of the 1913 home. Typically, you and your party will be seated at your own tea table. Occasionally, due to ticket sales 2 or 3 smaller groups might be seated together at a larger table. Tea parties last about 2 hours. Dress is fancy or casual. Tickets are available to purchase online, by phone with a credit card 816-792-8777 or stop by the teashop. Please call ahead for daily recorded hours.

The teashop and inn is just across the street from 343. Within walking distance of your tea party you are able to see and smell our fine loose leaf teas and all of our tea accessories.
